Prof. Suresh Bada Math

I am Dr. Suresh Bada Math, a Professor of Psychiatry at NIMHANS, Bangalore, India, with a diverse background that spans medicine, ethics, psychiatry, and law. I completed my MBBS at the Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences, Hubli, followed by an MD in Psychiatry from NIMHANS and a DNB in Psychiatry.

Driven by a passion for understanding human behavior, I further deepened my expertise by pursuing a Postgraduate Diploma in Medical Law and Ethics, as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Human Rights and Law, both from the National Law School of India University, Bangalore. My academic journey culminated in a PhD focused on Mental Health Legislation, also from the National Law School of India University.

In addition to my academic credentials, I have actively engaged in research, authoring 433 scientific articles in indexed journals and serving as editor for 19 books. Committed to knowledge dissemination and education in medicine and psychiatry.

I am passionate about sharing knowledge through social media (YouTube channel), @sureshbadamath, where I have uploaded over 550 educational videos specifically designed to benefit healthcare professionals.
