Graduated with an M.B.B.S. (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) in 1996 from the Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences, Hubli.
Completed an M.D. in Psychiatry (Doctor of Medicine) in 2001 at the National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences (NIMHANS), an Institute of National Importance, Bangalore, India.
Earned a D.N.B. in Psychiatry (Diplomate of National Board) in 2003 from the National Board of Examination, New Delhi.
Obtained a Post-Graduate Diploma in Medical Law and Ethics (PGDMLE) in 2007 from the National Law School of India University, Bangalore, India.
Achieved a Post-Graduate Diploma in Human Rights and Law (PGDHRL) in 2009 from the National Law School of India University, Bangalore, India.
Completed a Ph.D. in Law in 2014 from the National Law School of India University, Bangalore, India.

In addition to my academic credentials, I have actively pursued research, authoring 433 scientific articles in indexed journals and serving as editor for 19 books. I am deeply committed to the dissemination of knowledge and education in medicine and psychiatry.
