3. Rudran, B.Vishwanath, SureshBada Math, P Murthy, PS Chandra. The experience of partner violence among wives of men seeking treatment of alcohol dependence-prevalence and correlates. Presented at the 34th Annual scientific meeting of the Research Society of Alcoholism (RSA), Atlanta, Gerogia, on June 25-29, 2011 and Received Junior Investigation Award for the paper.

4. Suresh Bada Math.,Received 'Prof Raghuram Distinguished Young Teacher Award, 2014-2015'in the 25th Annual Conference of Indian Psychiatric Society – Karnataka Chapter held on 29th and 30th of August 2015 at Suvarna Samskruthi Bhavana, Shivamogga.

5. Suresh Bada Math., Received ‘Sir. CV Raman Young Scientist Award for Medical Sciences for the year, 2015-16’. This award is instituted by the Department of Information Technology, Biotechnology and Science & Technology, Government of Karnataka and Karnataka State Council for Science and Technology Indian Institute of Science Campus, Bangalore.
